Pears Overview
Bartlett pears, our predominate variety that we have offered for over 100 years, put Stillwater Orchards on the map. Added to our original plantings of Bartletts are Golden Bosc, Stark Crimson, Comice, Seckels and French Butter. This varietal mix enables us to provide the entire pear category in one spot. Growing in the Sacramento Delta region allows us to offer all of the most popular varieties early in their respective seasons and our volume provides for continued supplies well into the fall and winter pear periods. Pears are a delicious and very nutritious snack that is often an impulse purchase and sell well when positioned in highly visible large displays.
