Company Information David J. Elliot & Sons is a grower, packer, and shipper of fresh pears, apples, kiwifruit, and cherries. We are located near Courtland California, which is 22 miles south of Sacramento. The orchards around Courtland, next to the beautiful Sacramento River, are known to produce some of the best pears in the world. We take pride in our family farming business, as we have for 150 years. We grow, pack, and ship our own fruit. We grow many different varieties of pears on our rich Delta soil: The famous Bartlett; the long russet Golden Bosc; the bright red Stark Crimson; the juicy Comice; the buttery French Butter and the sweet Seckel Pear. Besides pears, we also grow the red Bing Cherry and the Rainer Cherry, which is golden yellow with a rosy blush. We grow Royal Gala, Fuji and Pink Lady apples that are always sweet and crisp. Our kiwifruit are harvested just in time for the holidays. To insure that you enjoy our fruit, we sort and pack each box with special care. Try one of our gift packs!
